DCC is conducted and managed by a Board of Directors.  The Board consists of seven to twelve members elected for a term of one to two years.  Anyone, excluding DCC paid staff and their immediate family, who is a resident of or is employed in the Deerfield School District, is eligible to serve on the Board of Directors as a full voting member. An effort is made to add board members involved with the various DCC activities (i.e. Youth Council, Toddler Playgroup, Senior Recreation, Athletics, etc.).

The DCC Board of Directors meets the first Monday of every month and hold their annual meeting every December.
