2007 Fall Soccer League
Now held at Deerfield Community Park
The Deerfield Community Center is organizing Fall Soccer Leagues for youth in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade. There will be two leagues, one consisting of Kindergarten & 1st graders and the other 2nd & 3rd graders.
Games will be held for 6 weeks (Sept. 15-Oct. 20) on Saturday mornings. 2nd and 3rd graders will play from 8:30-9:30 and K-1st grade will play from 9:30-10:30.
There will be a coach’s meeting on Wed., September 5 at 6:30 at the Deerfield Community Center. Coaches are always needed to help make this program a success for the kids. You don’t have to be an expert soccer player to coach. You just need to be good with youth and communicating at their level. If you are interested please contact the center at 764-5935.
** All youth must be registered in order to be put on a team. **
Registration Deadline: Registration forms and fees are due to the Community Center by Friday August 31, 2007. You can return registration forms to the Community Center during business hours or mail the form to the center at the address below. For your convenience there is also an after hours drop slot at the center. Late registrations will have a fee of $10.00 and will be accepted on a space available basis only. It is very important that you meet the registration deadline in order to secure your child a spot in the league.
