In 1977 a group of local children got together with their parents and
business owners of the community and requested a place to call their own.
The Deerfield Community Center was born.
In the last 30 years the DCC has made many contributions to the Village
of Deerfield and the surrounding areas. Our full-time Program Director,
full-time Program Manager, and the part-time Youth/Senior
Coordinator, together with local volunteers, have made it possible to
provide vital services to the children and adults in the community.
While many changes are in store for the DCC as we fully embrace the
21st century and the changing needs of the community, our commitment is as
strong today as it was a quarter century ago.
Keep an eye out for many exciting and new adventures that the DCC has
in store and please aid us in our quest in providing the very best by
volunteering.
