Summer Day Camp

Discipline Policy

The following policy will be discussed with all of the campers on the first day of Day Camp. The campers will also have a chance to add anything to the list of rules. Any camper that is caught fighting will not be allowed to attend that week’s field trip. Please take the time to discuss this policy with each child enrolled in Summer Day Camp.

The following are the consequences to breaking a Day Camp and/or DCC rule:

1^st Offense:                Camper will be reminded of the particular rule they have

                                    broken. This is considered to be a warning.

2^nd Offense:              The camper will be given a time-out. The time will depend on

                                    the severity of the crime.

3^rd Offense:               Parents will be notified of the child’s behavior and

                                    appropriate action will be discussed.

4^th Offense:               Temporary or permanent dismissal from the program,

                                    depending on the specific problem.
