2008 Spring Soccer League

Now held at Deerfield Community Park

 

 

The Deerfield Community Center is organizing Spring Soccer Leagues for youth in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade.  There will be two leagues, one consisting of Kindergarten & 1st graders and the other 2nd & 3rd graders. 

 

Games will be held for 6 weeks (April 12-May 17) on Saturday mornings.  2nd and 3rd graders will play from 8:30-9:30 and K-1st grade will play from 9:30-10:30.

 

There will be a coach’s meeting on Wed., March 19 at 6:30 at the Deerfield Community Center.  Coaches are always needed to help make this program a success for the kids.  You don’t have to be an expert soccer player to coach.   You just need to be good with youth and communicating at their level.  If you are interested please contact Anne at 764-5935.

 

** All youth must be registered in order to be put on a team. **

 

Registration Deadline: Registration forms and fees are due to the Community Center by Friday Feb. 22, 2008.  You can return registration forms to the Community Center during business hours or mail the form to the center at the address below.  For your convenience there is also an after hours drop slot at the center.  Late registrations will have a fee of $10.00 and will be accepted on a space available basis only.  It is very important that you meet the registration deadline in order to secure your child a spot in the league.

 

Cost:  $40.00 if you didn’t play in fall 2007, $30 if you played in fall

          $10.00 late fee – and space available basis only starting Feb. 22, 2007)
